New Beginnings

"Welcome to my homecoming, yeah, it's been a long time comin', lot of fights, lot of scars, lot of bottles, lot of cars, lot of ups, lot of downs, made it back, lost my dog, but here I stand, a better man, thank you Lord"

I know you are probably thinking, what does this quote taken completely out of context have to do with Kyle's blog? Well, it has been "a long time comin'" on this blog. I've written some in the past and scrapped most of them. My writing style has shifted in the past years I have been a student. I've been through a lot the past few years, most of which I have been to lazy to sit down and reflect upon. This is what I am hoping for in this blog, a new beginning to a crumby blogging past. I feel confident now, writing behind the blogging heroes of Nate the Great, Seth the Sloth, Jake the Jake, and Travis the Green. These notorious writers have truly inspired me.

Although I find blogging and journaling consistently to be difficult, I do however think it is important for much needed reflection and growth on my behalf. So the title "New Beginnings" symbolizes my new commitment to begin on the winding path to spiritual renewal.

So here I stand, a better man with a better plan.
